Here’s the finish cake on display at lunch today:
Call me crazy. But I actually want to try it again. This time with the correct amount of butter. And I also think there is an issue with the layers. They were all nice in the pan while they were baking, but then they fell all of a sudden. I need to ask the recipe author if there are any other typo’s in her recipe.
And finally, this cake is much better at room temperature. I froze it 12 hours like it said, and then let it warm up at my desk for around 4 hours. And the frosting was still a little hard for me.
