They might have some of the best chocolate in the world. But they also make a pretty mean endive.
I am talking about Belgian Endive. That uber expensive lettuce that looks like little cones.
I got three Belgian endives (2 green and 1 red) at Trader Joe’s for $2.99.
Here’s the salad a made from it.
It’s just slightly bitter to give you the edge in your salad. I added some blue cheese, also from Trader Joe’s, so play off of the bitterness of the endive.
This was a salad that could have been a main course!
